Pipliyapala Regional Park declared open, entry free today
Entry to the park, developed by the Indore Development Authority (IDA) at an estimated
cost of Rs 50 crore, will be absolutely free on Saturday.
The park will remain open every day (except Tuesday) from 11 am-9pm. Tickets have
been priced at Rs 25 for adults and Rs 10 for children. the 41.31 hectare park had
been developed at a cost of Rs 50 crore.

In related news, the Congress has questioned the inauguration of the park
, maintains that the body developed the park using deemed permission of the T&CP.
After the successful inauguration of Pipliyapala Regional Park on Saturday, the Indore Development Authority (IDA) is set to give another gift to the denizens of the city. The IDA plans to unveil a state-of-the-art auditorium in west Indore within a span of 8-10 months.
The auditorium, currently under construction at Scheme 97 Part IV near Rajendra Nagar, will be fully air-conditioned.
The civil work of the auditorium, being built at an estimated cost of Rs 15 crore, is expected to be completed within the next two months with another 6-7 months needed for its internal décor.
Speaking to Dainik Bhaskar, IDA executive engineer Anil Joshi said the auditorium, with a seating capacity of 1,500, will be the city’s largest.
The 1.5 acre auditorium complex, complete with green rooms, main hall, stages and other modern facilities, would mean that people of west Indore will no longer have to depend on the eastern part of the city organise galas and cultural events, said Joshi.
